Instructor Policy for Teaching Group Fitness Classes

Booking and Confirmation
- All class bookings must be confirmed in writing (email or contract) with details of the class type, duration, and location.
- A clear agreement on the compensation structure (e.g., hourly rate, flat fee, or per participant) must be established before the session.

Class Preparation
- The host venue must provide all necessary equipment (e.g., sound system, mats, weights) unless otherwise agreed upon.
- The class schedule and participant count should be communicated at least 24 hours prior to the session.

Payment Terms
- Payment for services must be made as agreed, either before or immediately after the class.
- Cancellations made by the host within 24 hours of the class may incur a fee or full payment.

Health and Safety
- Participants must complete a waiver or health questionnaire through the host organization.
- The host is responsible for ensuring the venue meets safety standards (e.g., clean floors, proper ventilation).

Class Structure
- The class will be tailored to meet the needs of the participants based on the host’s objectives (e.g., Zumba, strength training).
- Sessions will include warm-ups, the main workout, and cool-downs to ensure participant safety and effectiveness.

Cancellation and Rescheduling
- If the instructor is unable to teach due to unforeseen circumstances, the host will be notified immediately, and rescheduling options will be provided.
- If the host cancels within 24 hours, the instructor reserves the right to request full or partial payment.

Liability and Insurance
- The instructor carries their own liability insurance and can provide proof upon request.
- The host organization is responsible for ensuring its participants are covered by liability waivers.

Promotion and Marketing
- The host may promote the class, including the instructor’s name and credentials, but must seek permission for the use of photos or videos.
- The instructor reserves the right to promote their services and share event details on personal platforms with the host's approval.

Professional Conduct
- Both parties agree to maintain a professional and respectful relationship.
- Feedback regarding class performance or logistics should be shared constructively after the session.

Instructor Substitution
- If the instructor cannot attend due to an emergency, the host will be notified immediately, and efforts will be made to find a suitable substitute, if applicable.
